I get tons of responses from all sorts, and I want to dissect what you wrote so we all collectively can understand this and learn.
What you wrote is technically correct, but it is a failed argument.
Why?
First, you are gaslighting. Yes, Bibi did give money to Hamas, but you know full well this is a tiny miniscule paltry sum as compared to the Billions that came from international aid organizations.
So you are presenting a narrative that purposefully masks the larger reality.
Secondly, the point of this post is to look at the future. You presented a counterpoint from the past. Had you written "the far right continues to sponsor Hamas" we could have had a logical discussion.
But that is neither what you wrote nor is it true. Again, masking the reality but also not arguing to the point of the article.
So I will ask you this instead - what do you think should be done to support the people of Gaza going forward - given that the past is the past.
