Max - you bring up a point that I have heard before as well - that focusing on the Anti-Semitism feeds the beast and gives it more credence. And I agree with you that there is definitely a social values issues (especially in the US)

But I fear this situation is different for two reasons... First, according to the latest FBI statistics, the only category of "racially motivated hate crime" that is going up in the US is anti-semitism. Islamophobic incidents have been totally flat: "Religion-Based Crimes: There were 2,042 reported incidents based on religion. More than half of these (1,122) were driven by anti-Jewish bias. Incidents involving anti-Muslim (158) and anti-Sikh (181) sentiments remained at similar levels compared to 2021".

We are talking major increases year over year, and if you divide it by the population then you can can understand why American Jews are rightfully freaking out.

The other reason why I think this is different is because anti-black/asian/muslim hate is traditionally the purview of the far right, but Anti-semitism is a sentiment shared by the far right and the far left - which is unique just to this demographic.

But back to your point about young people have nothing to believe in... How would you address that?
