Gregg, I think a large part of problem, and what I cite here in the piece, is that modern media today does not have any incentive to call out bad information actors... What all the journalists that I cite are saying is that there is actually the opposite - an incentive to keep perpetuating one side in order to attract more eyeballs.

BTW this is true of both right and left - it is very hard to find nuanced objective perspectives - everything seems to be tainted Left or Right, and the content appeals pretty much only to the side they cater to.

Long gone are the Walter Cronkite days...
