Amanda, as someone who lives in Israel I can say that you are flatly wrong and promoting falsehoods. The only people who are showing any type of what you are saying are the far right crazies. 80% of Israel marched in the streets for months to kick them out.

Please do not take extreme positions to be the sentiment of the entire country.

As for self-defense - let me throw out some things for you to consider. Name for one one war that Israel instigated... and don't throw out some tiktok crap - actually take a second to google.

Secondly, Israel has the Iron dome, which protects citizens because the country decided to invest in protecting citizens. Hamas could have done the same and chose not to.

I understand it is difficult sometimes to see things from both perspectives, but if you truly are in any way interested in trying to find a brighter future for both sides, then you need to understand both sides, and the narrative of both sides, and realize that both sides need to make concessions.
